CNC plate preparation

Laser cutting: Trumf CO2 laser, with a wavelength of 10.6 µm, can be flexibly used for different types and thicknesses of materials.

Punching: In sheet metal working, punching is a cutting process in which the sheet is cut through in a single pass. As a result of the individual strokes, which can follow each other extremely quickly, for example, round holes can be created in the plate. The external contours can also be processed with punching machines.

Nibbling: In nibbling, the punch holes are placed next to each other so that they overlap each other. Openings and contours of any shape can be created using this method.

Bending: For countersunk bending, but also for edge bending, the plate is transformed through the controlled downward movement of the press beam. For this, an upper tool presses the flat plate into a V-shaped lower tool (sticker) and in the process shapes it in a straight line. The rear stop system ensures the exact position of the workpiece. Swing bending is the perfect option for complex bending applications with radial bends, short shanks or narrow profiles. Swing bending machine consists of a C profile on which the lower and upper bending tools are mounted. When bending, the C profile moves up or down, or performs a small elliptical swinging movement.

Rolling: If productivity and repeatability are the goal, then 4-roller technology is the right choice. The lower cylinder, together with the upper one, helps to maintain perfect positioning, and the lateral, planetary-moving cylinders ensure the appropriate force and the maintenance of tight diameters.

Shot blasting: The shot blasting process is most suitable for cleaning contaminated, corroded metal surfaces. The surface cleaning and descale of steel raw materials and welded structures, as well as surface preparation before painting, take place in the shot blasting room.
